She also holds a B.S. degree in Dietetics, and has been in private practice in the Augusta area since 2001.

Hair Removal

Laser hair removal destroys the hair follicle without harming the skin around it.  The LightPod Neo laser offers patients a virtually pain-free way to get rid of unwanted hair.  Most patients who have been treated by other lasers say that being treated with the LightPod Neo is a much gentler and more pleasant experience.  Because the Neo is a faster laser it typically requires less treatment sessions than other types of lasers.

Pigmented Lesions

Over time, your skin is affected by exposure to UV light (sun damage), which can cause darkened spots on the skin.  Some skin is affected by pigmentary changes at birth or people can develop moles.  The LightPod Neo can safely and effectively treat your pigmented lesion, resulting in an even and uniform skin tone.

Vessels

The LightPod Neo is able to safely treat telangectasias (broken capillaries) and spider veins.  The Neo delivers a pulse of laser energy, which will cause the blood within the vessel to coagulate and destroy the vessel.  The vessel is then absorbed by your body over several weeks.

Skin Tightening/Rejuvenation

Acne

Nail Fungus

Laser treatment for nail fungus is safe, quick and highly effective.  Most patients are able to be clear of their infection with only a few treatments.  Laser for nail fungus is proven to be a much safer and effective method compared to oral medications or topical creams.   After the treatment patients are able to resume their normal daily activities.

Psedofolliculitis Barbae (Shaving Bumps) (PFB)

Ingrown shave bumps are effectively treated by the LightPod Neo Laser.  The laser’s energy destroys the hair follicle, smoothes the skin and decrease hyperpigmentation and inflammatory response.

Melasma (Cholasma)

A hyperpigmentation condition caused by hormones, genetics and sun exposure is effectively treated by the LightPod Neo.

Rosacea (Acne Rosacea)
